The MoCCAfest show is this coming weekend!!

April 02, 2016 – April 3, 2016
11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Admission to the 2016 MoCCA Arts Festival is $5 per day. Tickets are available to purchase at the door. Cash and credit cards accepted. Children under 12 are free.

MoCCA’s new host venue, Metropolitan West, is located on West 46th Street 11ave. Mere steps from the Hudson River Greenway and the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, MoCCA’s new host venue will encompass two floors of exhibitor tables, a gallery of original art showcasing the work of special guests, and pop-up cafés throughout the space.

Programming featuring panels by top artists and speakers focusing on current issues and trends will take place at Ink48, a boutique hotel located on the corner of 11th Avenue and West 48th Street. Overlooking the Hudson River, this contemporary hotel is found in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen and features spectacular views of the city skyline.

50 Little Critters

I’ve been working on a print edition of 50 images titled 50 Little Critters. It’s an open ended edition printed on bright white 8″x10″ Matte Photo Paper “N” for the most vibrant and truest color possible. Editions come with a certificate of authenticity and are only available as complete sets, sold exclusively at conventions and drewgold.com.

I’ve been posting daily in progress pix on Instagram. It completely slipped my mind to update the blog. Below is #1 of 50.

MoCCAfest 2016, Here I Come!

Hi Friends!

The MoCCA Arts Festival, or MoCCA Fest, is an independent comics showcase that typically includes artist booths, slide shows, and educational panels. It was created by the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art in 2002 by bringing together over 2,000 artists, publishers, editors and enthusiasts. It was named “Best Small-Press Comics Nexus Anywhere” by The Village Voice. MoCCA Fest is being produced by the Society of Illustrators, following their acquisition of the Museum the previous year.

I’m proud to be participating this year. I’m really excited to see some wonderful work from some very talented people. If you’re in the NY area please stop by and look for DrewGold.com/Fuzzy Poet.
